Stomach Flu Nj 2010 Toddler Stomach Flu For TEN DAYS? Help!?

Toddler Stomach Flu for TEN DAYS? Help!? - stomach flu nj 2010

My daughter started diarrhea in 12/26. It took two days. He was irritated w / no appetite for several days. Then, it seemed. So Fast forward to 5 days after he vomited and had diarrhea for 2 days. Then my 5 years woke up vomiting. It took two to the emergency room. Stomach flu (gastroenteritis). My son now seems good, but the child of 20 months and still vomiting. The diarrhea stopped and we do the BRAT diet, but still happening.

We thought it would be better, but she woke up throwing a lot of (4-) times in the last minute. What we do! Is it normal to have a stomach flu, this time? She is not dehydrated, but has not eaten since Christmas! Only the biscuits, bread, rice, cereals, and juice. And not much of it. He returns to New Jersey, and we still have a pediatrician, so I have to call tomorrow and to head back to the emergency room. I think I'm just afraid that she had long been ill.

Who knows if a gastrointestinal virus can last so long? That can not be normal? Im so worried for her!

No, it should last as long if it is properly treated. The biggest danger is dehydration of the Wee. If both shit and vomiting, loss of electrolytes and other enzymes is still wanting, nutrients and fluids. The loss of system maintenance of these nutrients, it is difficult to grow again. Since the stomach, they are dissatisfied, you may not be what they need to replace the loss. It's like pouring water into a box with a hole in the ground. No matter what you choose to decline, or how fast the individual can not stay.
It also seems a bit like a food poisoning. Much of what happens to "time for Turkey and more often than you can imagine, is incorrectly identified as" stomach flu ".
Go to the emergency room and demand to be given some IV fluids, so that their organs to help the fight against everything that she is sick can. The intravenous fluids to replace what is lost and he should feel better within 24 hours. Of course, we know that only clear liquids are recommended. I always gave my kids gingerBeer, when they are sick, not diet, not flattened. (I do not know what doctors and nurses say that this carbon dioxide) Help burping and often relieves the stomach a little sugar and a little help with your energy.
God bless you and I loved wee recoup.
